Ouch that hurt! Amazon’s new Kindle commercial takes a slam at the iPad, calling out its high price tag and its shiny screen that is difficult to read in sunlight.
The television ad, which debuted on Monday during Good Morning America, features a woman in a bathing suit near a pool reading her Kindle. The man next to her reading what’s assumed to be an iPad asks her how she can read her device in the sun.
“It’s a Kindle,” she replies coyly, adding that it’s only $139. “I actually paid more for these sunglasses.”
Feeling defeated, the man puts down his device.
The ad is reminiscent of Apple’s “I’m a Mac” campaign against rival PC – perhaps giving the iPad creator a taste of its own medicine.
Apple has not yet commented on the ad.

Blogshelf
I have used and reviewed myriad of RSS readers for iPad, but this one is truly unique. It has the look and feel of the iBooks app and this means that the subscribed blogs are presented like books on the shelves. Priced at 5 dollars, it allows you to subscribe to up to 90 blogs which may not be enough for a pro-blogger like me. However, those numbers are plenty for a casual user.

News Wall
Here is yet-another RSS Reader for iPad – News Wall. This app sports an amazing UI, similar to Pulse News Reader. The developer behind this app says it includes the ability to send the articles via Twitter or email along with support for Instapaper and Read It Later. The app will soon be available on the App Store. There is no information on its price
