The iPad has been on the market for about a year now and is showing no signs of letting up. In fact, many consumers are eagerly looking forward to next version of the iPad, the iPad 2. The official release date for iPad 2 is today March the 11th. IPad 2 is considerably thinner than it’s Pa. Take a look at this picture:

If you’re trying to decide if the decision to buy an iPad is the right choice for you, you’ll want to consider what it has to offer you on a personal level. We’ve reviewed these features to help you make your decision.
People that don’t own an iPad, don’t realize they can browse the web with their device. It has built in wireless that automatically seeks out available networks wherever you happen to be. Today there many wireless networks that you can get online with, if you have a built in wireless. An iPad you can send emails and participate in social networks. The limitations you have with an iPad going online, ,may not have access to some features as it doesn’t support flash.
Do you like visual access to your news and other information that is convenient, having a iPad gives you fast access. You can get a free app that gives you complete access to the New York Times (it may cost something later in 2011), as well as apps for various other newspapers and magazines. Do you like an easy way to navigate the layout as well as enjoying high quality images, then the iPad is a great way to access this type of content instead of having to use your regular computer. Besides the news, you can get apps for weather and Google earth.
One of the main complaints about the iPad is that it doesn’t have a camera. IPad 2 has resolved this complaint as it has not one but two cameras, front and rear facing camera. The rear one allows for high definition video shooting. If you have iPad ist generation it’s easy to get the Apple Camera Connection Kit for $29, which allows you to connect your iPad to your digital camera or iPhone and transfer pictures back and forth. Despite the fact that you cannot snap photos on your iPad that doesn’t mean you can’t carry them around with you on your iPad.
Of all of the electronic gadgets recently released, the iPad can be thought of as one of the most interesting. An interface is awesome and hi-def screen allows for crisp viewing. After weighing the pros and cons of the iPad, you can now decide if you want one. Just how good is this iPad 2? What are the improvements of the new iPad 2?

Well, let’s start with sleeker design. The thickness of iPad 2 is full 33 percent thinner than its predecessor iPad. Unibody slimmer body allows for lighter iPad. It’s thickness is formidable 8.8 mm. To offer an interesting comparison iPhone 4 is 9.3 mm thick. iPad 2 is 15 percent lighter than iPad (589 grams). Lighter means more comfortable and more portable… just lovely I say.

IPad 2 has not one but two cameras. The first camera is front facing VGA camera and with rear 5Mp camera you can shoot high definition video. There is no flash.

Battery life of 10 hours and a month on standby remains the same. Taking that it is much thinner body it is quite impressive (although, I never got 10 hours on mine…)
Display rumors of large retina display were flawed. Oh well, we need to wait for iPad 3 to implement that.
Let’s talk about iPad 2 performance. With dual core chip it is clocked at 1GHz. Apple A5 processor is based on ARM’s Cortex-A9 design, making iPad 2 a multitasking tablet allowing graphics to be 9 times faster than previous iPad model. Version remains Imagination Technologies’ PowerVR SGX graphics technology. Operating system will be iOS 4.3 which is the latest iOS. In United States iPad 2 along with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch with same iOS 4.3 will be available on March 11th. In another 26 countries iPad 2 will become available for sale on March 25th. Faster processor makes enables faster Safari browsing, multitasking, iTunes sharing and overall faster loading.
For connectivity iPad 2 has HDMI output. With HDMI cable you can connect it to TV and charge iPad 2 at the same time. HDMI Video Mirroring that lets you mirror your iPad screen on an HDTV. IPad 2 also sports HSUPA support and that means that for iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G you can upload much like mobile broadband over 3G. Word is iPhone is to get this enabled in next update. Providers for iPad 2 are AT&T and Verizon 3G networks. Bluetooth and Wireless-N is enabled. iPad 2 comes in WiFi and 3G models and with storage of 16, 32, or 64GB.
As per cost we are to expect no change. That’s all right! IPad 2 is again one step ahead of competitors and probably will keep that status for some months at least. Here is what Steve Jobs had to say:
“While others have been scrambling to copy the first generation iPad, we’re launching iPad 2, which moves the bar far ahead of the competition and will likely cause them to go back to the drawing boards yet again.”
