Apple started taking pre-orders for the iPad last Friday and according to count done by AAPL, around 120,000 iPads were booked in first 24 hours! Nearly 70% of the total pre-orders were for the Wi-Fi only iPads.
This means that Apple was able to generate $75 million on the first day itself. Netbooks are doomed already!
