Just like iPhone 3Gs, Apple has equipped the iPad with a display that is pretty much refractory to the smudges. That said, it still catches fingerprints and what not. The best way to keep your iPad smudge-free is to use cases. iPad Cases
Here is how you should clean your iPad (instructions given by Apple)
- Unplug all cables and turn off iPad (press and hold the Sleep/ Wake button, and then slide the onscreen slider).
- Then use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid getting moisture in openings.
- Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPad.
