Privacy is a right we guard with our constitution. Apple has had a problem with Google lately about circumventing default privacy policies of Safari browser by planting temporary cookie to see if the user was signed in before allowing him of her to add '+1'. Google accused itself saying no personal data was collected. It seems red flag was raised as Privacy Policies are on top of a radar of Apple as well as other companies.
Apple has rejected all apps in violation of privacy act effective immediately. All apps that have or are trying to access Unique Device Identifiers of iPhones, iPads or iPod Touch are now out. This is a stern move on Apple towards all developers disrespecting [...]

A few reports have been bandied about complaining that the new iPad runs a fair bit hotter than the last-gen iPad 2. It's got a fir bit to do with the huge A5X chip inside the latest gen Apple tablet. The new iPad's CPU notches up a full 310% more surface area than the original iPad's A4 CPU, even though all three generations of processor are built to a 45nm architecture.
The 165 square millimieters of quick-ticking silicon in the A5X is twice the size of the quadcore NVidia Tegra 3 competition. The reason for the extra chip real estate is the new processor incorporates four graphics cores to service the Retina-quality display of the new iPad. [...]

iPad 3 frenzy tomorrow

Evidently there are some people already camping in front of Apple store 'hoping' to lay their hands on brand new iPad 3. There are many retail store selling iPad 3 starting tomorrow. Stocks are in and doors will open bright and early. iPad 3 shopping madness begins tomorrow March 16th. This is where you can get it:
- Apple Stores usually have the biggest stock. They also have free 14 days return policy.
- AT&T & Verizon Stores (likely to have iPad 3 4G versions only)
- Radio Shack has an in-house trade in, 30 days return.
- Best Buy has a great stock of iPad 3 and great buy back option. You may get up to $265 back for your iPad 2. Also Best Buy has 30 days return policy [...]

That iPad 3 certainly stoked up the desires of the tablet fraternity - nearly one-third of mobile web users plan to buy the next-generation Apple iPad. In a survey carried out by mobile ad network inMobi, 29% of respondents said they planned to get themselves an iPad 3. 65% said they would consider a cut-priced iPad 2. More than half said they would be willing to pay above $500 for the new iPad 3, while at present only the entry-level 16GB iPad 2 WiFi version can be bought for under 500 bucks.
The survey admittedly only had 689 responses, so it's findings might need to be taken with a good pinch of salt, but 44% said they wouldn't buy anything other than an Apple tablet. The remainder [...]

Apple has been busily promoting a new milestone in app downloads - users will soon pass 25 billion downloads from the App Store.
Now Apple is showing its appreciation for all those downloads by offering a prize of a $10,000 App Store Gift Card for whoever is lucky enough to download the 25 billionth app. Just visit the App Store and download an app to be in with a chance.
