It is a fact; more people are catching on with the Ebook revolution while the sales of printed copies drop. Ipad users are becoming more and more supportive of Ebooks that the sales of Ebooks have been increasing. Compared to the sales last year, the increase has been really significant at around 200%. in various areas of trade publishing, it is apparent that the Ebooks are the number one best selling formats to date. The holidays have shown significant influence in the purchasing of Ebooks. People purchase E-readers and fill them out with digital books at more convenient prices.
Sadly, that is not the case for print. The sales of regular books and other print materials are showing steady decline. A fall of more than 20% is significant enough to reveal that the printed books are slowly losing its audience. It has two dimensions, however, the increase in digital format support only shows that people still love reading books and other content but they are making smarter choices and they are venturing to more modern and less bulky options. Even if the regular printed books offer a unique tactile experience, people are still embracing new innovations and therefore, they are loving the best of both formats, only the Ebooks are more cost effective.
