AT&T and Verizon are competing with regards to their plans as well as coverage areas and the competition has touched the iPad tablet. Recently, Verizon has unofficially released a statement that there will be an iPad with the built in wireless service from Verizon and they will also be serving wireless services to the iPhone. In the past, AT&T carries the 2 gadgets exclusively under their belts. Now that there are 2 competing companies serving similar devices, a question on the service quality is being asked. Now it is time to do a little bit of analysis about the services of Verizon and AT&T for the iPad.
When it comes to data downloads, Verizon is slightly faster. If you want support for the built-in wireless, then Verizon would be a better option. However, it is not worth it to drop a $200 termination fee for switching. Right now, there is the all important aspect of data plans. With AT&T you get unlimited data download for 29.99. Verizon has a much more costly plan especially for those who would download and browse a lot but their $50 dollar a month 5GB is great for those who like to do networking a lot. Hopefully, both will be able to offer unlimited data plans.
