Danger in Cyberspace: eating the forbidden “Apple”

Tim Wu from Columbia University states that Apple “endangers the freedom of the internet.” Wu just recently released his book, The Master Switch: The Rise and Fall of Information Empires (Borzoi Books) He states that the US has a deep rooted affection to “Information monopolies” and that there are consequences to this kind of affection. Wu states in an interview with New York Times that the real of information technology has a cyclical process and with the domination of Apple in the internet realm, it is unclear if this system will last or if it will be another thing in the past in the coming future.
