We’ve had a few requests from iPad owners wondering how to pause video-recording, as in Android. MovieCam is just the thing, and even claims to be the iPad’s most powerful camcorder. MovieCam can be downloaded at iTunes for $2.99.
The app comes loaded with nine different effect presets and has options for recording in DVD or HD quality. Most importantly, MovieCam lets you pause video recording.
CameraPlus Pro is another solution for anyone who wants such an app for both the iPhone and iPad – though the iPad version is not yet optimised, so you’ll have to hit the x2 button. It’s offers a multitude of photography and video features, including pausing recording. Camera Plus Pro will cost you $0.99
