Educational apps seem to do well these days and for a good reason. Little Sky Writers is a great application for kids of 3 to 6 years. It teaches to write, does it well and without tools like crayons and pencils. All your child needs is a tiny finger. To start touch a plane. Drag the plane along the line to the end. Then, next letter appears. If multiple strokes are necessary to draw the letter, Little Sky Writers (to make it easy on the little Tommy) shows the first stroke only. You can choose upper and lowercase letters, difficulty level or stylus, but it would not suggest or create sentences. Stylus may help your kids learn how to transfer what they learned in LSW onto the paper. All in all great app to get your kids ready for school. Can you say little genius?
