kindle-ipad-app

Amazon recently updated its Kindle app for iOS in the iTunes App Store to incorporate a whole host of new features.

The most significant change to the Kindle app is the new support for full-color newspapers and magazines as offered on the Kindle Fire. The same options are available as for periodicals, enabling users to buy either an individual issue or a full subscriptions. Textbooks are now available, and in typical Kindle style, offer full support for annotations and zoom and pan functionality.

The library UI now offers improved organization and Kindle for iOS now offers PDF support, which means PDF links from email or Safari can be viewed via the app. The new enhanced Kindle app is available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, and users’ Send-to-Kindle email addresses now automatically sync with the other devices.
