The App that promised to make the iPad as the perfect eReader won’t come standard with the iPad. Yes, iBooks App won’t be there on a new iPad. However, there is nothing to worry about. Apple will be making it downloadable for free from App Store. Users can then buy and download books from the iBookStore.
This move is beneficial for the end users as it would allow the Apple to easily update it as if it is an independent app. The apps that are bundled with the device are only upgradable via new firmware only.
