Earlier available only for the iPhone, Elgato, the developers of EyeTV have updated their app for the iPad so that it can make full use of the iPad screen. The new version 1.1 also brings separate bit rate settings for streaming via local Wireless LAN, remote Wi-Fi as-well-as 3G connections. Also included is the ability to select S-video or composite inputs from the favorite list.
The EyeTV allows the users of EyeTV software (for Mac) to directly stream live TV shows and view the recorded shows from their Mac via Wi-Fi or 3G remotely on the iPad. Available for 5 dollars and free for the existing owners. [link]
