Case-Mate has launched its new Venture case that also doubles as a stand for the Apple iPad. The case is made form polyurethane material with green piping and comes with all the opening for the ports and controls. This allows the user to use the iPad within the case itself.
The Venture Case comes with a side-opening design and a folding front cover with snap closure that turns the case into a stand. Now, if they could do something about its high price – costs 90 freaking dollars! [link]

I ordered the case since looking for a slim and stylish case. It looks and fits great on the iPad and functions exactly as shown in the video. But after using it for a few days, I will be sending it back to case-mate. Aside from it being flimsy in structure, material of construction (??) so so, but the biggest design flaw is that the metal snap used to secure the case closed sits on the glass screen with no protection. Ru kidding me? Not worth the premium price, too bad.
Even after paying 90 dollars, if they cannot deliver good quality, it is embarrassing on their part. Hope you get a replacement
Update – I left review directly on their web site it popped up for less than a day, then clearly it was removed by an admin. They should have left it, then comment that the issue has since been resolved; therefore anyone interested should not worry. But rather than fixing the issue, better to remove the review and let the design stay. A shame.
Terrible support. I guess they are only after money and not customer satisfaction.
