The iPad Recliner from LapWorks is one of those accessories whose maker has decided to shift a traditionally metal iPad accessory to plastic one, not to reduce the price, but for something else. Priced at 45 dollars, it is certainly not the cheapest iPad stand out there. Not made from Aluminum like most of the iPad stands, it is made from black and silver hard plastic and semi-soft rubber.
The LapWorks iPad Recliner takes up 9-inches of depth when used in video mode or 13-inches when the iPad is at full keyboard-like recline. The stand looks great from angles, expect when you look at its fugly back. It appears that the folks at LapWorks were lazy and did not want their its back to look great. I do not want it to have back like Kim Kardarshian, but it should not look as if it was pulled directly from its factory mold. If you are cool with that, get it from Amazon. [link]
