Sonic 4 has only an analog stick and one button to push. It's incredibly simple and yet it knocks our socks off. Watch this video to see the improvements Sega made since the last version. You can still run down hills and roll through loops, but jumping gas become much more pronounced. Hit that button to jump in mid-air and execute a homing attack that will send Sonic spinning into nearby enemies or interactive objects which get target locked automatically. This adds an interesting dynamic to the game and makes it far more playable on the touch screen, as you don't have to be quite as precise when trying to defeat enemies. You'd be surprised to see that interest in iPhone is dropping. Android is climbing. About as many smartphone buyers want an Android device as do iPhones, according to the latest unofficial ChangeWave metric. Plans to get an iPhone have cooled off after the iPhone 4 high in June, and in September about 38 percent wanted Apple's handset, down from exactly half three months earlier. Android interest simultaneously spiked, however, and now has almost as much interest at 37 percent, an all-time high for Google. Other platforms had just a fraction of interest. Verizon has launched a trade-in program aimed at pulling in subscribers from other carriers. Visitors to the Verizon website can have a phone appraised on several different criteria, including make, model and whether or not voice and the display are still usable. Some of the eligible phones notably include the iPhone 4, and 8GB versions of the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Trade-in values for an iPhone can vary substantially; while a fully-functional iPhone 3G is currently fetching only $36, 16 and 32GB iPhone 4s are each worth about $212.
