KGI Securities predicts that the new iPad Air will launch earlier this year, feature A8 processor and Touch ID scanner. The super-sized iPad won't be seen until 2015. Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities offers his best predictions into Apple products' for 2014. As seen in diagram below, the first product to make it out of Apple's production lines will be a cheaper iMac in the second quarter. Leaked photos of Apple's production of upcoming iPhone 6 surface via Weibo in China. Leaked pictures of Foxconn's production of iPhone 6, tools and dies as well as schematics appear on Weibo social network, the Chinese alternative to Google. The above pics of technical documents, do appear to be that of iPhone 6 although we cannot be sure. Apple is rumoured to work on two models of iPhone 6, the larger 5.5 inch model and smaller 4.7 inch one. The larger model has reportedly been delayed due to production issues till next year. Worldwide Developers Conference has been announced to take place at Moscone West in San Francisco on June 2nd through 6th. The annual WWDC conference will have over 100 lectures and sessions where over a thousand engineers will assist iOS and OS X developers. Two months seem like a long way ahead and we already have some ideas as to what is going to be discussed and offered in terms of upcoming iOS. The new mobile operating software iOS 8 is still in the making and it's operational code name is Okemo. Popular iOS design of Jony Ive is not likely to change. Apple's quarterly financial report is now pegged for April 23rd. Apart from sales stats we ought to learn more about new products (or so we hope). Thus far in 2014 we have seen updated iOS 7, discontinuation of iPad 2, and a launch of new 8 GB iPhone 5c. No new products and product lines were announced, but we may see something new in fall. iPhone 6 is heavily rumoured to be launched later this year, possibly in two sizes and featuring new A8 processor and Sapphire Glass protection. iWatch and iTV are more likely to surface next year. Apple against AIDS campaign achieved donation of $70 million to Bono's RED charity. In September Apple became the largest contributor to RED charity with about $65 million in donations. Apple announced that the red iOS and OSX products sold reached $70 million. There are iPads with red smart cover, iPods and iPhone cases and proceeds from red products sold go straight to fighting against AIDS in Africa.
