iOS 8 may introduce true split screen multitasking enabling 2 apps to display at the same time. The Split-Screen Multitasking feature was not introduced at the WWDC 2014, but according to macrumors and developer Steven Troughton-Smith, there is a code in the SpringBoard, enabling numerous screens to be displayed simultaneously. The code allows for up to 4 apps displayed on one display.
